Well, what can I say? We are getting old. This month was supposed to be eating out at BWW and hanging out in the CRMC parking lot overlooking the city. We did this back in November and had a great talk that prompted some changes in our relationship. This date was supposed to be a "check-up" to see how things were going. Now before anyone starts the "Michael and Rachel are having problems" rumor. Nope. I mean sure all marriages have problems, but for the most part we don't argue, we don't fight, we aren't separating or getting a divorce or anything. Just one of those how can we improve on what we have convos.
WELL...back to what can I say? That night was a MIZZOU game (I forgot) so we went and ate early to beat the crowd and watched other games. Then we ran by Wal-Mart. After a T.H.R.E.E. hour WM trip, this old chick was too tired to sit in the van longer than the drive home.
It was great though. But you know you are old when date night consists of BWW and a trip to WM without kiddos.
I can promise you (and him) that April's date night is much cooler for him (and a bummer for me). He is going to like it soooooo much that I am not even telling him on the 1st but won't tell him until we actually go. So keep tuned, I promise they get better!!
She even took it out of the envelope so I couldn't peek! (I only know that because she told me that.)
