Worship

Worship was fabulous today.  I needed it like Missouri ground needs rain.  We have been having a great time in London, but I just needed some sweet worship time and boy did they provide.  Rather than worship in their separate churches, each church involved in Run the Race in Chalfont St Peter gathered in the big marquee on the common.  900+ peopled gathered in that tent to sing "Amazing Grace (My chains are gone)", Strength will Rise, and more.  It was such a tremendous blessing.

This afternoon we had team meetings then about an hour or two to watch some Olympics.  Tomorrow Kids Club and the other activities for youth and adults start.  In the past Kids Clubs they have had about 120 show. This time they had to close registration when it hit 750.  God is moving in big ways here.  I'm so thankful to be able to witness this.

Prayer requests:
  • health for team members
  • an outbreak of salvation breaks out and people turn their lives over to God
  • my brother, Leslie, and Wills

So looking forward to tomorrow.  To quote my precious daughter Hayley, "Go Team Jesus!"

Peace.
